  Ultrasound is not the modality using in medical for diagnosis purpose only, apart from diagnosing fetus during pregnancy. In Physiotherapy, Therapeutic Ultrasound is most widely used modality, it is using as a Valuable tool for relieving pains, to stimulate the repair of soft tissue injuries, myalgia, tendonitis, Synovitis etc.  It has been traditionally classified as a deep heating modality.  

Shortwave Diathermy (SWD):

  We have a dynamic imported   Pulsed and Continuous Shortwave diathermy (SWD) for the effective treatment through the machine’s easy and convenient to the patient. SWD is a high-frequency electric current is most commonly prescribed for a joint condition, increasing blood flow, reducing muscle spasm, reduction of intracellular edema, decreasing joint stiffness etc.  

Interferential Therapy (IFT):

  IFT depends upon the principles of Interferential effect of two medium frequency currents to produce a low-frequency current crossing in the patient’s tissues. The advantage of IFT is that can be used for pain relief as well as muscles stimulation, increasing blood flow, reduction of edema etc.  

Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS):

  Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation is the application of low-frequency current in the form of Pulsed rectangular current. TENS is a method of pain relief involving the use of a mild electrical current, TENS reduces pain & muscles spasm caused by wide range of conditions, including Arthritis, Knee Pain, Neck Pain, Back Pain, Sports injuries, Pain relief during labor etc.  

Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS / ES):

  Electrical Muscle Stimulation therapy is a treatment that applies electrical stimulation in a various mode like  ( Galvanic stimulation or Faradic stimulation ) treating muscles spasm, Atrophy,  any type of spinal cord injuries or strokes ( paralysis ) and pain,  it helps strengthen muscles and maintain Muscles tone.  

Traction Cervical & Lumbar:

  Advanced Digital electrical Traction Unit, using intermittent and static as require. Cervical Traction and Lumbar Traction are used in spinal nerve root impingement / Compression,   degenerative disc diseases.  

Paraffin Wax Bath Therapy:

  Paraffin wax bath therapy is an application of molten paraffin wax on the body parts. It provides superficial heating to the tissues; it increases the local circulation to the area, Increases the pliability of the skin and reduces stiffness and the pain. Paraffin wax therapy is used for the treatment of Rheumatoid arthritis, Osteoarthritis, joint stiffness; adhesions post immobilization stiffness, etc.  

Heat Moist Packs:

  Heat moist packs provide superficial moist heat to the part where applied. It contains the substance which absorbs heat like silica or gel.  It gives a soothing effect and relieves muscular spasm,   increases circulation, reduces pain.  

Contrast bath:

  Contrast bath therapy combines the effects of both hot as well as cold bath together. The alteration in warm and cold leads to vasodilatation & vasoconstriction at regular intervals, this variation leads to a reduction in edema and is beneficial in various chronic peripheral circulatory disturbances.
